Images — photos, illustrations, vectors & icons
You may reproduce, modify and display the asset in any medium as part of a larger work. You may not distribute the asset as a standalone file, or in a way that lets others extract it — for example, as a downloadable high-resolution wallpaper.
Assets marked “Editorial use only” on the asset page may be used only for news, education and commentary. Icon sets may be used icon by icon; each icon is covered by the set’s licence.
Attribution for free assets
Place the credit where viewers can reasonably see it — beside the image, in the video description, in the app’s credits screen or on the publication’s credits page. Copy it exactly as shown after you download. For example:
AI-generated content
- The AI label is shown on the asset page, in search results and in the downloaded file’s metadata. Do not remove it from the file’s metadata.
- Fully AI-generated assets may not be protected by copyright in every country. You still receive the full licence, but you may not be able to stop others using similar output.
- You may not use any Pixaf asset to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models.
- C2PA Content Credentials are preserved in original files where present. Removing them to misrepresent how an asset was made is a breach of this licence.
Warranty & claims
Every creator warrants that they own or control all rights in their uploads and have declared AI use accurately. If you receive a claim about an asset you licensed, contact us with your licence ID — your dated certificate shows when and how you licensed it. Indemnity terms for paid plans will be published here when subscriptions open.
Prohibited uses
Cancellation & certificates
Each download is logged with a project name. You can re-download the file and open the dated PDF certificate at any time from Downloads, and anyone can confirm a licence on its public verification page.
