How to report content that infringes your copyright, and how creators can respond.

01Reporting infringement

In short: Use the report form — it collects everything a valid notice needs.

If you believe an asset on Pixaf infringes your copyright, submit a notice through the report form. Include the asset link, a description of your original work, your contact details, and a statement made in good faith under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

02What happens next

  • We review every notice and may remove or restrict the asset while it is checked.
  • The creator is told which asset was reported and why.
  • Licences already issued for the asset remain valid for their buyers.

03Counter-notice

If your asset was removed after a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake, open the asset in your dashboard (Portfolio) and choose “File a counter-notice”. We forward it to the person who sent the notice; unless they tell us within 10–14 business days that they have started court action, the asset can be restored.

04Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are closed.
